AI cameras see what is in view. The UWB module detects what is not. TS-Hybrid combines both sources, so the system recognizes the pedestrian in front of the forklift and at the same time knows about the person hidden behind the racking.
What is a hybrid system?
One system that detects visible people with AI cameras and out-of-sight people through UWB tags. The cameras handle recognition of the human figure and of what is happening around the forklift; the radio module picks up anyone carrying a tag, including outside the field of view.
What AI cameras plus UWB give you
• No false alarms — operators sitting in a forklift are not treated as pedestrians.
• Accidents and dangerous situations can be recorded in real time — the system saves the key moments when safety rules are broken.
• No more guessing what happened — instead of uncertainty you have clear evidence.
• The forklift “sees and remembers” — the built-in AI cameras act as the vehicle’s memory and hold the relevant footage from a few days up to a couple of weeks back, depending on the number of cameras.
• Automatic speed zones — the system reads the signs on the floor and adjusts the forklift’s speed. Changing a zone means moving a sign or adding one.
• Automatic horn — once a sign is recognized, the system sounds the horn itself, with no input from the operator.
• Recognition of other objects — the system can be trained on autonomous vehicles, for example, with a defined response: warn or slow down.
