On a plant floor, not every hazard can be seen. A pedestrian behind a rack, a wall or a load is invisible to the operator and to the camera alike. The UWB system detects anyone carrying a TAG — whatever the lighting, the dust or the obstacles in the way.
UWB (ultra-wideband) is a radio technology that measures the distance between an antenna mounted on the forklift and a tag carried by the pedestrian. It is accurate to 10 cm and works within a radius of more than 50 meters, including through obstacles. The operator gets a warning before the person comes into view.
Technical data
• 3 tag types to choose from • Battery life on a single charge: typically 45 days, 120 days in the extended version, minimum 21 days • Charging time: 4–6 hours • Accuracy: 10 cm • Range: ≥ 50 m • Ingress protection rating: IP65 • Operating temperature: -20°C to 70°C
A single tag (pedestrian tag) costs 598 PLN net.
